R5S before buying: can I use a 2.5G port as WAN?

Hi all,
Thinking about buying a NanoPi R5S but want to confirm one thing first.
I'd like to use one of the 2.5G ports as my WAN (my internet is faster than 1Gbps), and use the other 2.5G port plus the 1G port together as my LAN. Is this possible on the R5S, and does it work well in practice?
Mainly I want to know if there are any performance bottlenecks doing it this way — anything that would stop the 2.5G WAN from reaching full speed.
Thanks!
