Nanopi Neo Air - could WiFi work in WiFi-Direct mode?

Hello,
Is it possible to get a WiFi Direct connection from Nanopi Neo Air to for example smartphone and send a file to it? I mean with not using router.

Can the Smartphone operate as a Hotspot? I send files to my Samsung Galaxy Young Y using a web server running on the NanoPi (original model).

No, hotspot works like a router, I don't want to use this method.
I want to use WiFi-Direct technology (it is present in many smartphones).
